We are five girls, living together in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.

Emily is a writing student, interested in new media, media criticism, and photography of morbid things. She bakes and writes and reads and photographs when she isn’t running around the city with little children. (Not chasing them, or anything… nannying.) She also writes here and here.

Sami is studying public health and community development and is preparing for a cross-country bike ride this summer with Bike and Build to raise money for affordable housing. She runs a program at NYU that delivers leftover food from the dining halls to local homeless shelters and soup kitchens.
